

VINCENT FLEURY
Vincent Fleury is a research director at the CNRS, he works at the Matière et Systèmes Complexes laboratory. He develops experiments and models treating embryonic development as a set of viscoelastic deformations caused by tractions distributed in a simple way (biaxial) on a reference configuration (the blastula). This work has given rise to about a hundred articles and several popular books. Last book published: “Les tourbillons de la vie” Fayard, 2017. It will present the latest results concerning the formation of the face and particularly the establishment of the sense organs: eyes, ears, nose, mouth.
